Our Maroubra flower shop is open Monday to Saturday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays except for Mother's Day.

We normally deliver Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm. 

If The Florist cannot guarantee a specific delivery time. We will do our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it.

SAME-DAY DELIVERY

If The Florist offers same-day delivery to most of Sydney's suburbs for orders placed before 2 pm.

Distant Sydney suburbs may have an earlier cut-off time.

You will be informed at checkout if your selected suburb is within our cut-off time for same-day delivery.

Delivery conditions may change for special days such: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and Christmas.

Our online store has a minimum spend of AU$65 delivery for delivery orders. No minimum spend requirements for pick up orders.

 

HOSPITAL FLOWERS AND DELIVERY

We can deliver to most hospitals in Sydney.

Note that some hospitals have strict policies about flower and gift deliveries. Check with the hospital before sending flowers to ensure they can be delivered.

How much does the delivery cost?

Our delivery fee starts from $9.95 and depends on the suburb the flowers are sent. 

What if my recipient is not at home?

You can give us authority to leave so that we can leave your item in a safe location at your recipient's door. All our flowers are "wet wrapped", so they stay fresh for few hours without water. If we cannot deliver your order, we will bring it back to the shop for collection. If you wish for a re-delivery, an additional delivery fee will apply.

Will the flowers be like the photographs on the website?

Each floral design displayed on the website has its particular characteristics, and our floral designer will use the photograph as a guide for texture and colours. Flowers are constantly changing with the seasons and are subject to availability; therefore, we cannot guarantee an exact replication of the design online. If you wish to include specific flowers in the arrangement, don't hesitate to contact the store directly to see what is available. 

How do I care for my flowers?

Once you have received your flowers, be sure to recycle the paper and remove the wet wrapping. The flower stems must be trimmed at approximately 45 degrees before putting them into a vase full of fresh water, ensuring all flowers are in water and add flower food if available. Keep in a cool area away from direct sunlight, trim the stems and change the water every 1-2 days. 

Depending on flower type and the amount of care given, they can last for about 4 to 12 days.

We provide flowers, plants and corporate arrangements, including same-day delivery to most of Sydney's suburbs. If you visit our flower store in Maroubra beach, you will find many options of gifts, homewares, artworks, flowers and indoor plants. Throughout the year, we offer different workshops. We are also specialised in events and weddings, and our calendar tends to fill up quickly.
